Help Create the First Yumanity Ecosystem in Bansko
A sustainable model for meaningful work, belonging and opportunity.

Across the world, communities are becoming more isolated, more expensive and increasingly disconnected.
Many people struggle to find meaningful work, supportive relationships, affordable living, or a place where they truly belong. At the same time, families, municipalities and local economies face growing challenges that existing systems often struggle to solve.
Yumanity is exploring a different possibility.
We are building the first version of a sustainable ecosystem in Bansko, Bulgaria — a place where people of different ages, abilities and backgrounds can live, work, learn and contribute together.
Not as beneficiaries. Not as clients. As active participants in a thriving ecosystem.
People are valued not for what they need, but for what they can contribute.
Meaningful work, wellbeing, housing, learning and social connection reinforce one another.
A model designed to become financially sustainable, resilient and adaptable over time.

Yumanity is not a charity project.
It is an ecosystem built around sustainable businesses, inclusive employment, meaningful participation and long-term resilience.
Many social initiatives depend on continuous funding.
Many community projects begin with great intentions but lack sustainable economic foundations.
Yumanity is being designed differently.
Our goal is not to create dependency. Our goal is to create opportunity.

Bansko has become one of Europe's most dynamic hubs for remote workers, entrepreneurs, creators and independent professionals.
Every year, thousands of talented people pass through the town bringing knowledge, experience and fresh ideas.
We believe this unique environment can become the birthplace of a new approach to building sustainable ecosystems — one that combines local roots with global expertise.

Yumanity is no longer just an idea.
We are currently developing the first ecosystem in Bansko, Bulgaria. Current efforts include:

Over the next 12 months we are focused on:
This is a unique opportunity to contribute during the early stages of a project that is still being designed, tested and built.
We are looking for people who want to contribute skills, expertise, experience, connections or practical support.
Not because they have to. Because they believe better futures can be intentionally created.
We are especially looking for contributors with experience in:
If your expertise lies elsewhere, we would still love to hear from you.
Share knowledge, experience and practical solutions.
Join working groups and help move projects forward.

We Value Action Over Opinions
Ideas matter. Execution matters more. We are building a network of people who are willing to contribute, collaborate and create solutions together.
Our ambition extends beyond a single location.
If successful, the lessons learned, systems developed and relationships built in Bansko could help inspire and support similar ecosystems elsewhere.
We are not trying to build a perfect community. We are trying to discover what is possible when people choose to contribute, collaborate and create value together.

They need a real opportunity to contribute, belong, and build a meaningful life. Yumanity is that opportunity — built to last.
